We’re interested in what you have to say however you say it. CBW will consider for publication articles or stories on almost any subject but particularly if it is connected to the industry. There are very few rules of publication – but there are some! These are: Length is not important, but probably should be not less than, 800 words. Write for a single issue or for a series. There is no upper limit but please contact us first should you want to write more than, 2000 words. Preparation is essential. An Outline may be needed before writing if you have a lot to say. This is a summary of the final work submitted in advance and forms the nucleus around which we work with you to produce the final result. A good Headline or Title is essential. This helps to define the subject area and structure of the piece as well as helps us understand your aims. Reasons for writing. Please tell us why this is a good topic for you to write about and why you feel qualified to write. Content may be controversial but must not contain misrepresentation, be misleading or make defamatory statements about people, businesses or institutions. Material presented as statements of fact must be carefully checked for authenticity and accuracy. Illustrations may be included but to be published in CBW consent from the owner is needed in advance. Review. When finished we may have your piece reviewed before publication by an independent external expert. Submission of text can be as hard copy or as a Word document.
